Eni will keep its fuel price cap in Italy until year-end
Petrol
1.99 euros a litre
Diesel
2.25 euros a litre
The cap is now 1.99 euros a litre for petrol and 2.25 euros for diesel, CEO Claudio Descalzi said.
Eni will keep watching prices and supply to review the level. The cap began Sep 28 for an initial 30 days.
Projected cost of the measures
700 million euros
Descalzi put the cost of Eni's price measures since March at about 700 million euros if projected to year-end.
