US threatens the EU over a record loan to Airbus

US trade representative Jamieson Greer said the loan puts at risk the 2021 truce over Airbus and Boeing subsidies, which suspended billions in tariffs on both sides. He said his office received no details about it.

In June, the European Investment Bank announced a record €3 billion loan to Airbus to fund research and development.
