TFI International's third-quarter profit rises to US$105.7 million

The Montreal-based trucking firm's net income rose to US$105.7 million from US$84.7 million a year earlier, or US$1.28 per diluted share.

Revenue reached US$2.23 billion, up from US$1.97 billion. Logistics revenue rose 22 per cent and truckload revenue 15 per cent.

Free cash flow so far this year

CEO Alain Bédard says the company has produced US$440 million in free cash flow so far this year. A quarterly dividend of 47 US cents declared in September is up four per cent from last year.
