  • Rail and marine transport

Most Canadians do not buy diesel at the pump, but they pay for it indirectly through trucking, farming, construction, mining and rail. Canada agreed in March to release 23.6 million barrels, the third highest volume of any member.

Diesel is currently the tightest part of the barrel.
