Boeing expects to begin deliveries
The Federal Aviation Administration approved the Max 10 on Tuesday, nearly a decade after Boeing unveiled it. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2027.
Max 10s ordered and not yet delivered
1,555 aircraft
More than 30 customers worldwide have ordered 1,555 Max 10s that Boeing has yet to deliver, more than 30 per cent of its 737 Max backlog.
Typical seats, according to Boeing
- Max 10: 185 to 210
- Max 9: 175 to 195
- Max 8: 160 to 180
The Max 10 will typically seat 185 to 210 passengers, more than the Max 9 and Max 8, a way for airlines to lower costs per seat.
"It marks another major milestone in our recovery, and it unlocks a key to our future growth."
