Critics are divided on Netflix war film The Mosquito Bowl

First reviews praise its Battle of Okinawa scenes and sound, but say the four lead characters lack depth.

Directed by Peter Berg, it follows four American football players who enlist in the US Marine Corps, played by Nicholas Galitzine, Bill Skarsgård, Ray Nicholson and Tom Francis.

In theatres

The film reaches theatres on Oct 30 and Netflix on Nov 25.
