Xbox gives Arkane Lyon until Nov 13 to find a buyer

Jobs at risk at the studio

217 jobs

The studio behind Dishonored and Deathloop would be shut down if no buyer is found, according to reports. About 217 jobs in Lyon, France, are at risk.

Unions say redundancy talks are going badly and are trying to buy more time. Microsoft did not confirm or deny a closure and said it continues to explore options for Arkane.

Background

Xbox told the studio of the plan on Jul 16. French law requires a company of more than 1,000 employees to spend three months seeking a buyer before closing a unit.
