Trump says he may move the White House press corps

Trump called reports that he would replace the briefing room with a swimming pool “Fake News”, but said he may move reporters to “a less obnoxious location”.

“I NEVER even thought to do such a stupid thing!”

Former press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump was “flirting” with restoring a 1933 pool that lies beneath the briefing room floor. She added that she does not know if he will do it.

Background

Last month Trump barred journalists from three US outlets from the White House. A federal judge ruled the order likely unconstitutional and access was restored, though the administration is still fighting the ruling.
