The movement calls rallies and sit-ins outside the National Assembly and town halls across France.

The government banned many marches across France on Saturday, a week after violence and looting. In Paris, police barred Place de la Bastille and allowed a route from Porte d'Italie to Porte de Vincennes.
What's next
The yellow vests accuse the government of an “authoritarian drift” and call for assemblies uniting students, workers, farmers and retirees.
