Met Police says it did not share a 2019 letter about Meghan's father
London's Metropolitan Police said it received a letter in January 2019 with claims about alleged offending outside the UK. Officers passed it to Harry and Meghan's office but not to other law enforcement agencies.
The force is reviewing how it handled the matter. It is considering whether it needs to be referred to the police watchdog.
Background
The claims follow a tabloid report that Thomas Markle Jr. said he found child sexual abuse images at their father's former home in the Philippines. Police there are investigating, and Thomas Markle Sr. denies the allegations.
