Uganda orders a 21-day Ebola quarantine for people returning from DR Congo

Health Minister Chris Baryomunsi announced the rule on Sunday, as Ebola cases in Kenya and Nigeria raised questions about travellers passing through Uganda. Returnees must pay for their own quarantine.

Uganda says it has no active infections after ending its own outbreak on Jul 28, and has tightened checks at Entebbe airport and land crossings.
