Two Catholic bishops regret a White House prayer photo with Trump

Milwaukee Archbishop Jeffrey Grob apologized after the White House posted photos and a video of Thursday's meeting. He said it was released without the participants' consent, less than two weeks before the midterm elections.

The meeting was in no way an endorsement of the president, his policies, or his party.

Des Moines Bishop William Joensen also said the meeting was exploited for partisan purposes. The White House declined to say whether it had the bishops' consent.
