Volunteers bring hot meals to quake-hit Xizang

After the earthquake that struck Baqen County on Oct 22, volunteers reached the snow-covered plateau to serve hot meals at temporary shelters in Maru Township.

One volunteer from Xinjiang brought two pressure cookers, since cooking at high altitude is hard; another travelled nearly 48 hours to reach the epicentre.
