DUP blocks joint engagements with First Minister O'Neill over Drumcree

DUP leader Gavin Robinson said deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly will stop joint engagements with Sinn Féin First Minister Michelle O'Neill. He did not rule out withdrawing her from the post, a move that would collapse the Stormont Executive.

The move follows police interviews of O'Neill and other Sinn Féin figures over an allegedly unlawful protest on the Garvaghy Road in Portadown last month, against an Orange Order parade. O'Neill says taking part was the "right thing to do".

As a result, O'Neill and Little-Pengelly will not attend an economic forum in Glasgow on Friday, where they were due to meet Prime Minister Andy Burnham.

"Michelle O'Neill's arrogance will have consequences for her."
