NATO fears Trump may delay Patriot missiles for Ukraine until after the midterms
NATO sources say allies doubt Ukraine will get Patriot interceptors before next week's US midterm elections. They say Trump may be using deliveries as leverage, including to stop Ukrainian strikes on Russian refineries.
Patriot interceptors made in the US
60-65 a month
Ukrainian estimates put US output at 60 to 65 Patriot interceptors a month, fewer than the ballistic missiles Russia fired at Kyiv and the region in two weeks. Demand from the war with Iran adds to the shortage.
