Since the full-scale war began, state companies and agencies have spent more than 17 billion roubles on drone protection, according to an analysis of procurement data.

Biggest buyers

  1. 1 Rosseti: over 3 billion roubles
  2. 2 Mosvodokanal: 1.7 billion
  3. 3 Inter RAO: 1.3 billion
  4. 4 Saint Petersburg TEK: 970 million

Power grid operator Rosseti and its subsidiaries lead with more than 3 billion roubles, ahead of Mosvodokanal at 1.7 billion and Inter RAO at 1.3 billion.

In August, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree that effectively allows critical-infrastructure firms to be seized if they have not invested in drone defence.
