UN warns of ethnic cleansing fears as Israel squeezes space in Gaza

The UN human rights office says Palestinians are being displaced again and again into a shrinking part of Gaza. It says Israeli forces appear to treat the “Yellow Line” as a kill zone.

Israel's stated aim is to extend its military deployment area to 70 per cent of Gaza's territory, the UN office said.

Attacks have continued despite the ceasefire that began Oct 11, 2025: at least 1,574 people have been killed since, according to Gaza's Ministry of Health.
