Background

In June, the singer reportedly told an Instagram Live audience to keep him away from protests, a remark that drew criticism from Cockroach Janta Party activist Abhijeet Dipke.

After the Friday concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium went viral, Dipke wrote on Instagram that he remains an admirer and asked the singer to let the matter go.
