Iran's leaders vow not to give in to military pressure

Bombs and missiles can't force a nation to surrender, but if we become divided internally, the enemy will achieve its goal.

— Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran

Speaking on Thursday, President Masoud Pezeshkian said the enemy is raising pressure on Iran, including through restrictions on transport and communication routes. He said shortages of electricity, water, gas and fuel had failed to divide Iranians.

On Wednesday, parliament speaker Mohammad-Baqer Ghalibaf said Iran both fights and negotiates. He said it fights so that the enemy either accedes to its demands or accepts defeat.
