Zelenskyy urges faster Patriot deliveries as new order may take years

After the US cleared a sale of 500 Patriot interceptors, Zelenskyy thanked Washington but said deliveries may begin "only in a few years".

Zelenskyy wants 100 interceptors a month this winter from existing stocks, replaced later from the new production. He said Ukraine received about 12 a month from the US on average in 2026.

Washington has not publicly answered the request for interim deliveries, and no delivery date for the 500 missiles has been published.
