The Ukrainian Navy says Neptune cruise missiles hit the Borisoglebsk air base late on Oct 14, destroying six modernized Su-34M jets and flight-servicing equipment. Secondary explosions and fires followed, it said.

The navy says the Su-34M is Russia's main aircraft for launching guided glide bombs at Ukrainian positions and front-line towns.

Ukraine's General Staff also reported strikes on troops of Russia's Rubikon drone unit near Novokostiantynivka, in the Zaporizhzhia region, and on a drone launch site near occupied Donetsk.
