Police arrested 325 people outside the U.S. embassy in London on Saturday, 320 of them for expressing support for a banned organization under the Terrorism Act, the Metropolitan Police said.
The U.K. banned Palestine Action under terrorism law in July 2025. The protest organizers, Defend Our Juries, say more than 4,000 people have been arrested since for defying the ban, and Amnesty International UK has criticized the arrests.

The U.K. Supreme Court is due to hear an appeal against the ban on Nov 4, and the Home Office says it will robustly defend it.
"I hope that they will take a long-term view of what is happening in this country and decide that the proscription was unlawful," said Charles Allison, a 75-year-old retired lawyer who was arrested.
