Hundreds of Israeli military probes into killings have no public outcome, a review finds

A review of news reports found 300 cases since October 2023 that the Israel Defense Forces said they were examining; only 28 have a published outcome on the military's website.

Of the 254 incidents without a public outcome, 158 took place in Gaza, 48 in the occupied West Bank and 32 in Lebanon.
The military says it takes every allegation "with the utmost seriousness" and publishes outcomes when legal and operational considerations allow.
Three years into this operation, some of these investigations should have been concluded.
