Harry and Meghan make their first joint appearance since moving back to Britain

The couple visited three charities in Nottingham, England, on Thursday, and Meghan told the crowd: "It's great to be back."

Why it matters

The visit may put them at odds with Buckingham Palace: a letter from the King last month said their position was "akin to private citizens" and that they should not be addressed as royal highness.
