Days as press secretary

5 days

Zacharia left her post on Friday after her first and only press briefing drew criticism and two shaky television interviews followed.

On Friday, Donald Trump told reporters: "Is this for you, Katie? Because honestly, you don't need this."

She is expected to move to a new role, according to reports, and commentator Scott Jennings, close to chief of staff Susie Wiles, is mentioned as a possible successor.
