Trump also said Israel “has been very helpful to Saudi Arabia” in its fight with Yemen's Houthi rebels, without saying how.

Background

Fighting between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis has escalated, and the group claimed an Oct 10 missile strike on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh that killed at least 13 people.

Israeli officials are skeptical: one Israeli source said Riyadh is showing “little appetite for advancing normalization.”
