US airman dies after a rappelling fall at a Texas stadium

Tech. Sgt. Ian Patterson fell while rappelling from the rafters of the Alamodome before a college football game on Saturday, and died in hospital.

Patterson, from Fort Stewart, Georgia, served 15 years in the US Air Force and was a Tactical Air Control Party instructor.
