No resource project in Greenland has ever gone beyond exploration, and the territory stopped issuing new oil and gas permits in 2021.
Greenland holds large deposits of rare earth minerals, but they are encased in rock, and its offshore oil and gas lies under Arctic ice.
I recognize the worry in the U.S., but I think it's not a quick fix. There's no Greenlandic barrels of oil on ground in any near future.
