Trump must sit for a deposition by Dec 11, unless the deadline for gathering evidence is extended. His lawyers had proposed Jan 11 to 22.

Trump is suing the BBC for $10 billion over a Panorama documentary that joined two parts of his Jan 6, 2021 speech into one. The BBC apologised for the edit but denies the claim.
What's next
The judge rejected a bid to stop the session being filmed and warned that failing to cooperate could lead to sanctions, including dismissal of the case.
