US banks and major websites block AI agents from customer accounts

Charles Schwab is blocking Meta's Muse assistant from moving clients' money, chief executive Rick Wurster said on Oct 16.

JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Citigroup also lock automated agents out of customer accounts, while Amazon has removed Muse and Delta blocks agents from booking flights.
