Savannah officer fired for sharing her Flock login with her ICE agent husband
Police in Savannah, Georgia, fired officer Amber Harpe in August after an internal investigation found she had given her login to the Flock licence-plate camera system to her husband, Tyler Harpe, an agent with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

With that access, Tyler Harpe ran 983 searches on 97 licence plates, overwhelmingly registered to Hispanic drivers, according to reports.

Law-enforcement purposes
The department does not share its Flock data with ICE and said sharing access broke its security rules; the couple said the searches were strictly for law-enforcement purposes.
An interim major first recommended an eight-hour suspension, but senior officers overruled him. Five other employees were also fired over Flock misuse, and four were later arrested; Amber Harpe was not one of them.
