SpaceX posts a profit as Starlink and computing-power leasing soar

SpaceX reported net income of US$4.4 billion for the three months through September, more than double what Wall Street expected and a reversal of a loss a year earlier.

Starlink's consumer subscribers reached 13.6 million at the end of September, up from 7.2 million a year earlier.

Elon Musk said that on next month's Starship launch, SpaceX will try to catch both the booster and the ship with mechanical arms on their return.
