Cree musician says an RCMP officer dislocated his shoulder during a traffic stop
Jarrid Poitras, a Cree country musician, says he suffered a dislocated shoulder and hand injuries during a stop near Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, on the night of Oct 10. His wife filmed 28 seconds of the arrest.

He refused to comply
The two sides tell the stop differently.
The RCMP is reviewing the video, and a complaint was filed with the Saskatchewan Public Complaints Commission. The province's serious-incident team declined to investigate, saying the injuries did not meet the legal threshold.
What's next
Poitras faces charges of obstruction, fleeing police and resisting arrest, and says he will plead not guilty. His court date is in December.
