Ksi Lisims LNG signs a 20-year gas supply deal with Germany's SEFE

Under a binding agreement, SEFE will buy one million tonnes a year of liquefied natural gas for 20 years, with deliveries starting in the early 2030s.

The project on British Columbia's north coast now has binding contracts for seven of its 12 million tonnes a year of capacity, with two more deals in the preliminary stages.
The $10-billion project has regulatory approval, and its partners aim to make a final investment decision this year. It would sit on Nisga'a Nation lands, with Western LNG and a consortium of Canadian gas producers.
