Carney and the UAE to share details of a strategic partnership

Abu Dhabi's crown prince, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is in Ottawa for a two-day visit. Carney hosted a dinner for him on Monday.

The UAE pledged to invest around $70 billion in Canada when Carney visited last November.

The dinner guest list of nearly 120 leaned toward defence, energy, critical minerals, infrastructure and AI, and included former prime minister Stephen Harper.
