Vancouver's EarthDaily wins a $3-million NASA task order

EarthDaily will supply Earth observation data to NASA and the US Geological Survey, whose scientists will compare its satellite measurements with Landsat's.

What is it?

Landsat

Landsat is the longest-running continuous US Earth observation program, dating back to 1972, and its data is open to anyone in the world.

What's next

The pilot will test whether commercial data is compatible with Landsat's long-term records, and whether government and private systems can work together.
