Indigenous activists revive Idle No More against Bill C-39

Activists plan to reactivate the movement to oppose the Carney government's 246-page bill giving itself new powers to speed up project construction. They are formally asking that Bill C-39 be withdrawn.

"Government haste cannot erase Canada's obligations. Investor confidence cannot take precedence over the water our children drink."

— Janice Makokis, Idle No More organizer
