Former junior hockey executive charged with child sexual exploitation
Alberta RCMP say Tyler King, 39, was arrested Friday at a Canada-U.S. border crossing in Ontario. He faces three counts of luring a person under 18, sexual exploitation of a young person and making child pornography.
Police say a former Okotoks Oilers staff member solicited and paid players for intimate videos and pictures. The RCMP identified three victims, all under 18, after a report in June 2024.
What to do
Police say there may be more victims in B.C., Saskatchewan, Ontario and the Alberta communities of Fort McMurray and Brooks, and urge anyone affected to speak with the RCMP.
