Carney urges Albertans to stay in Canada before Monday's vote

Speaking to about 5,000 people at a Calgary rally on Thursday, Prime Minister Mark Carney called a vote against Canada a dangerous bluff. He said frustrations in Alberta are real.

The nine other questions include

  • Limits on some non-permanent residents' services
  • Health and education fees for them
  • Constitutional changes, such as ending the Senate

Carney also urged Albertans to say no to the nine other questions Premier Danielle Smith's government put on the ballot.

Smith replied that Carney has yet to understand how damaging his predecessor's open-border policies were. He shares a stage with her in Red Deer on Friday, before a rally in Edmonton.
