A judicial recount in Vachon, in Longueuil, gave Parti Québécois candidate Stephan Fogaing the seat by three votes. Liberal Affine Lwalalika had been declared elected on Oct 5 with a 10-vote lead.

The Quebec Liberal Party said it does not concede the seat, that its lawyers are reviewing every option, and confirmed it will appeal the recount.
