Ontario says trustees elected to supervised school boards won't be sworn in

Eight school boards, with nearly 40 per cent of Ontario's elementary and high school students, are run by a single supervisor the province appointed.
A new regulation lets only Education Minister Paul Calandra or the supervisor call a newly elected board's first meeting, where trustees are traditionally sworn in.

A government source said trustees in five public boards will not take their oath until the province gives up control. Trustees at three supervised Catholic boards keep a say on religious matters.
What it says to the people of Ontario is we don't care how you vote, we don't care what you think, we're just going to do whatever we want to do anyways as the government of Ontario.
