A Bahamas-bound cruise ship sails to Halifax instead
Passengers on board
5,000 passengers
Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas left Cape Liberty, New Jersey, on Sunday with 5,000 passengers. Heavy weather at sea turned it away from Florida and the Bahamas, toward Nova Scotia.
Halifax

Nassau
28 °C, sunny
Passengers spend 24 hours in Halifax, with highs of 13 °C to 15 °C forecast. In Nassau it was 28 °C on Tuesday.
"We can't promise you tropical temperatures, but we can promise you a warm welcome — with zero chance of sunburn."
