Danielle Smith faces another call for a leadership review
The board of a United Conservative Party constituency association in Bonnyville-Cold Lake-St. Paul, Alberta, passed a motion Monday calling for a review of the premier's leadership. Local MLA Scott Cyr, who disagrees with it, says it is time to rally behind her.

The motion passed narrowly, 10 votes to nine, in a secret ballot.
The party's annual general meeting in Calgary is a month away. Smith is trying to rein in separatists in the party before the October 2027 election.
Background
Last week, three-quarters of Alberta voters in a provincewide referendum said they want the province to stay in Canada. Smith called the vote and has promised there will be no other separation vote while she is premier.
